Alright guys, we decided that it is high time to let you know what actually happens here in the office and what our plans for the summer are :)
So let start with this so hot topic – Joomla 3.x!
We will start migrating our templates to Joomla 3.x on Monday (13th of May). They will be migrated in the following order:
- PurityFX
- GossipFX
- EliteFX
We hope we’ll manage to migrate PurityFX and GossipFX until the end of May. Actually, PurityFX and GossipFX templates are already fully compatible with Joomla 3.x but there is no Joomla 3.x Quickstart Package included. So we’ll just create the Quickstart Packages over Joomla 3.x.
Regarding EliteFX – it was originally developed over Gantry 4.0.5 which is not Joomla 3.x compatible so we will need to completely re-built it. We hope we will release it until the end of July.
Regarding DiabloFX – it is built on T3 Framework v2. We have decided to completely re-built it over Gantry and make it fully responsive but unfortunately it will happen somewhere in the Autumn (most probably October).
Regarding SpiritFX – currently we have no plans for releasing a Joomla 3.x version of it, but who knows :)
All templates that will be migrated to Joomla 3.x will contain both Joomla 2.5 and Joomla 3.x Quickstart Packages so it will be up to you which one to use.
As you can see we will be quite busy until the end of June. Then the Summer will be here and so will be the Summer Vacations. We plan to be Out if the Office for two weeks in August. We will post the exact dates when the time comes :)
